Requirements for abstracts

REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACTS

All participants who would like to make a presentation will be kindly asked to submit an abstract. The deadline for submission is the 31 August 2006.

The abstracts should be submitted in English language by e-mail to the following e-mail address:
ssa@nsa.bg

The maximum length of the abstracts should not exceed one page (including tables and graphs), size A4 (210 x 297 mm). The text should be typed as follows:

1. 1. Leave 1.25’’ margins on the left, right, top and bottom of the page;
2. 2. Type the title using capital letters, Times New Roman 14 pt, Bold, single spacing;
3. 3. Leave one blank line and type the name(s) of the author(s). Use Times New Roman 12 pt, single spacing. Put the e-mail address and the institution of the presenting author below. Underline the name of the presenting author;
4. 4. Leave three blank lines and type the text of the abstract using Font Times New Roman 11 pt, justified, single spacing. The abstracts should be structured as follows:
   · Introduction;
   · Aim and methods;
   · Results and discussion;
   · Conclusions;
   · References.
5. 5. Use standard abbreviations or define the non-standard ones, use only SI units of measurement.

Each participant may appear as first author of a maximum of two abstracts. It is possible, however, to participate as a co-author of other presentations.

A special independent and unbiased Scientific Board will be responsible for judging the abstracts and giving recommendations. All abstracts will be included in a special abstract book of the Congress.
