NSA to host the 11th European Cup Winter Throwing

17 March 2011  Official site of the championship: http://www.sofia2011.org/ NSA to host the 11th European Cup Winter Throwing One of the most prestigious international championships in the athletics will be held at the stadiums of the National Sports Academy in Sofia. The 11th European Cup Winter Throwing will take place on 19 and 20 March, 2011 under the patronage of the Mayor of Sofia Mrs. Jordanka Fandakova. The Organizing Committee is led by the Rector of NSA prof. Lachezar Dimitrov and the President of the Bulgarian Athletics Federation Mr. Dobromir Karamarinov. The competition was first held in Nice, France, in 2001 and became an annual event ever since.
