08 October 2024  The Olympic karate champion from Tokyo 2020, Ivet Goranova, will pursue a master's degree at the National Sports Academy. In a conversation with the rector of the NSA, Prof. Krasimir Petkov, she shared her decision to advance her professional career by enrolling in the master's program "High Performance Sport – Karate." "I support your choice, as it will be a worthy continuation of what you have achieved, conquering the Olympic peak," commented the rector. Prof. Petkov wished Ivet to use her invaluable experience as an Olympic champion in her future career development and to find ways to apply and share her knowledge. The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Hristo Andonov, Assistant Rector Prof. Nikolay Izov, and the head of the "Karate" sector at the NSA, Assoc. Prof. Radoslav Penov. |
