The Department of "Football and Tennis" held its traditional scientific conference

26 September 2024  On September 26, the Department of "Football and Tennis" at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" held its XII International Scientific Conference. The conference was officially opened by the head of the Department of "Football and Tennis," Assoc. Prof. Galina Ocheva, in the presence of the rector and academic leadership of the NSA. Rector Prof. Krasimir Petkov proudly accepted awards won by students of the Academy in prestigious competitions, including the championship cup from the National Championship, won by the women's football team of the NSA. This annual scientific forum, which has become a tradition, provided excellent opportunities for the presentation of work by faculty members from the Department of "Football and Tennis," experts, and young researchers—students and doctoral candidates—who presented reports on current issues in the fields of football, tennis, rugby, table tennis, badminton, field hockey, baseball, cricket, and golf. Among the thematic areas of the conference were elite sports (high-performance sports), sports for all, physical education in the educational system, management, leadership, psychological aspects, traumatology, kinesitherapy, and rehabilitation. In addition to participants from NSA "V. Levski" and other Bulgarian higher education institutions, representatives from the scientific community from Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, and others, as well as specialists and experts from sports organizations, presented reports at the forum. |
