The leadership of NSA "Vasil Levski," represented by Rector Prof. Krasimir Petkov and Assistant Rector Prof. Nikolay Izov, met with Mr. Michele Santorelli and representatives of the Bulgarian Field Hockey Federation (BFHF): Jorg Schenk - President of BFHF, Prof. Antonio Antonov - Executive Director of BFHF and Field Hockey lecturer at NSA, and Yordan Penev - Member of the BFHF Board of Directors.

The occasion for the meeting was the successful organization of the first international ID hockey tournament and the donation of a set of medals from the tournament, which has the potential for increased popularity and international participation.

Michele Santorelli is a businessman, a leading producer of fruit crops in Europe, and a major donor who supports people in disadvantaged situations. During the talks, an initiative was launched to hold a round table discussion with NSA, government institutions, and business representatives to support and promote better inclusion of disadvantaged individuals through sports.

Mr. Santorelli met with students specializing in "Field Hockey" and athletes from the NSA Field Hockey Club. He also visited NSA’s Olympic and Educational Center and was impressed by the exceptional wealth of exhibits with incomparable historical value. In the guestbook, Michele Santorelli left the following message: "It is an honor for me to have the opportunity to visit the wonderful NSA Center, which respectfully and passionately preserves and presents the history of sports in Bulgaria! Thank you for the honor! Best regards!"
