The National Sports Academy opened the academic year for students in part-time education

26 August 2024  On August 26, the academic leadership of the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" welcomed first-year students in part-time education with a "Welcome." The official opening of the 2024/2025 academic year took place in Aula Maxima. In his welcome speech, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Hristo Andonov, wished the students to be diligent and successfully pass their exams. “On behalf of the Rector, Prof. Krasimir Petkov, and the academic leadership, I congratulate you on your right choice to continue your education at NSA. I am convinced that here you will gain a lot of knowledge and skills from your instructors – they are the best in Bulgaria in their fields, and you will succeed in your professional path. I would like to see you again in five years at your graduation as bachelors in the same composition,” said Assoc. Prof. Andonov, wishing everyone health and a fruitful academic year. He introduced the members of the academic leadership present: Prof. Ognyan Miladinov – Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities, Assoc. Prof. Emil Atanasov – Dean of the Faculty of Sport, Assoc. Prof. Vera Antonova – Dean of the Faculty of Education, Assoc. Prof. Ivan Slavchev – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Sport, Assoc. Prof. Todor Marinov – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Assoc. Prof. Vesela Slavova – Director of the Department for Language Training and Information Technologies. Prof. Ognyan Miladinov introduced the students to the opportunities of the National Sports Academy's distance learning platform, as well as how to use it. The first-year students received their student ID books from the deans of their respective faculties. |
