  • 1977 - Gold medalist at a French language high school.
  • 1981 - Higher education - NSA.
  • 1984 - Lecturer at NSA in swimming and synchronized swimming in the "Water Sports" department.
  • 1990 - Senior assistant.
  • Since 1994 - PhD.
  • 1986-1992 - Member of the LEN (European Swimming League) technical committee for synchronized swimming.
  • 1987-2000 - International judge at FINA (International Swimming Federation for Amateurs).
  • 2001 - UN ambassador for "Sport for Social Development".
  • 2002 - Diploma for special merits with a gold seal from the IOC.
  • 2003 - Expert-evaluator of the Directorate "Science" at the European Commission for "Education, Science and Culture".
  • 2004 - Expert-analyst at the MTC.
  • Deputy Chairman of the national association "Women in Science".
  • International coordinator of European projects for the departments: "Ethics of Science", "Women and Science", "Employment and Social Activities".

Teaching Activities

  • 1985-2004 - International lecturer in synchronized swimming at LEN and FINA.
  • 1993-1998 - Lecturer under state contract and expert at the Ministry of National Education in the Principality of Monaco.
  • 1999-2004 - Expert on educational standards at the Ministry of Education and Science.

  • 1981-1992 - Head coach of the national synchronized swimming team.

Research Interests

  • Theory and methodology of physical education and sports training, health prevention, communication techniques and verbal expression in Bulgarian and French, gender equality.

  • Has 120 publications in specialized editions, 11 books, guides, and teaching aids for Bachelor's and Master's degrees, 20 curricula for the needs of Bulgarian and foreign Ministries of Education and Science.
