2003-2011 – competitor at the Swiss rowing club "Lausanne-Rowing" and as its athlete participated in 6 national rowing championships in Switzerland, winning one title and six medals. Won a bronze medal at the 2011 World Coastal Rowing Championship in the in the 4x+ event.

1982-1996 – competitor in the Bulgarian National Rowing Team and participated in 9 World Championships, three Olympics and many International regattas in rowing, winning:

1983 – silver medal at the World Rowing Junior Championships – Vichy, France

1988 – fifth place at the Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea

1987 – bronze medal at the World Championship in Copenhagen, Denmark

1989 – gold medal at the Universiade in Duisburg, Germany

1993 – bronze medal at the World Championship in Rudnice, Czech Republic

1979-1996 – more than 20 times national champion in various rowing disciplines as a competitor in CSKA
