The main sections of the Academy are the faculty, department, institute and college. They are founded, reconstructed and closed with a motion of the Academic Council under the conditions and orders, determined by the Law for higher education. These sections assure the organization of the students’ training in different qualifications and degrees, according to the state classifier of the fields of study in the higher education and the professional direction.

The following faculties exist in NSA:

1. 1. Coaches faculty – performs the preparation of sport specialists for acquiring the professional qualification “Coach in kind of sport” in the field of study “Public health services and sport” and the professional direction “Sport”.
2. 2. Teacher’s faculty – performs the preparation of students for acquiring the professional qualification “Teacher of physical education and sport” in the field of study “Pedagogic science” and the professional direction “Pedagogic of the education of physical culture and sport”.
3. 3. Faculty “Kinesitherapy, tourism and sport animation” – performs the preparation of students for acquiring the professional qualification “Kinesitherapeutist” and “Coach in kind of sport” in the field of study “Public health services and sport” and the professional directions “Health care” and “Sport”, as well as the professional direction “Tourism” in the field “Social and economic sciences and law”.

Service sections

The service sections in NSA assure the functioning of the main academic sections and structures. These are: academic administration, services, sport clubs, library, laboratories, publishing complex, computer center, electronic information center, school bases and others. They are founded, reconstructed and closed with a decision of the Academic Council, which approves the regulations of their activities.

The structure of NSA obligatory includes the following independent departments and centers:

The subsidiary consultative bodies in the structure of the Academy are the Rector’s Council – subsidiary body to the Rector of NSA, which included chosen by him member staff; expert, economic and other councils, founded as subsidiary bodies to the academic and faculty management. These councils can be either permanent, or temporary.

The body for internal control of the activities of NSA is the Control council. The structure and the activities of the Control council are determined in the Law for the higher education and the Statute of NSA.
