The ARISTO project, whose manager for Bulgaria is our vice- rector Prof. Daniela Dasheva, is a European Monitoring Protocol of Young Athletes' health and training Conditions that aimed to improve young athletes conditions, through the creation and promotion of a web tool that would analyze young athletes' training and competition conditions. A specific Monitoring Protocol (consisting on several medical and functional tests) has also been created and will allow different sport organizations across Europe to control and prevent potential health problems of young athletes in different sport fields, as well as evaluate athletes' physical conditions in order to optimize training loads and avoid potential injuries. During the project period (2014/2015), this tool, as well as the different analyses and studies have been coordinated by the 9 European partners. The project is presented by the Andalusian Sport Ministry, through the Empresa Pública para la Gestión del Turismo y el Deporte en Andalucía and the Andalusian Center of Sports Medicine, together with the other 9 partners. The objectives that have chaired this initiative “Aristo Progrma” are the following: 1. Create a Monitoring Protocol of young athletes’ health, which assess their performance linked to good health standards. 2. Share and improve know-how regarding the protection of athletes’ health and raise awareness about the importance of the creation of adequate mechanisms to facilitate this. 3. disseminate the results and expand the knowledge among sport institutions around Europe. 4. develop a sustainability and exploitation plan to expand the Protocol to other sports fields. 1.
